How do you do slow motion on a mac?

I'm making a video on iMovie on a mac... and we shot this scene of someone running but we want to make it in slow motion. How do we do that?

You can then adjust the bar to how fast or slow you want the clip to go. When you're satisfied with a speed, click apply.
