Me and my boyfriend want to go to the Dominican Republic, and we need helo planning the trip cause we have never gone anywhere. I was wondering if Liberty Travel was expensive, or if there are any other good travel agencies in NYC?How much does it cost to use Liberty Travel?I've found that Liberty Travel has better prices than those found online. Last year we went to Aruba and online I kept seeing the same rates on Expedia, Orbitz, etc. I went to Liberty and we saved like $800! I've used them to book a few vacations now and I've been very satisfied. They don't charge you a fee, they get commissions from the hotels (I think).
Definitely do some research online though, because if you find a rate lower than Liberty's they'll match the price.
