How much would an enlisted photographer for the Air Force travel?

I plan on joining the Air Force when I get older, and I'm interested in doing it for Photography and Media Communications, something along those lines.

Anyway, how often would someone working that job travel?

Is the setup different than someone working the same job in another military branch?

By travel, I mean to other countries and states every few years, and maybe months.

And I'm not joining the military just for travel aspects, there's much more to it. I'm just curious about the lifestyle. How much would an enlisted photographer for the Air Force travel?Well Air Force is the branch that has the shortest deployments (6 months) compared to others 12 months deployment, if you are in peace time and there is no war then you will probably not be deployed.

If you are in embedded media, which is when you travel with the "action", you will be out of country sending news of whats going on in the war back to the U.S.

Even if you aren't a embedded media person you will probably still be over seas reporting the news of whats going on, like reporting gov' issues, internal and external public informed about whats going on, and keeping in contact with foreign agencies

You also could go with a specialty job of Public Affairs which deals with media and community affairs. How much would an enlisted photographer for the Air Force travel?Your not gonna travel.

You will be assigned to an Air Force base and there you will stay.

You might go on a TDY every now and then to take pictures of other airmen at your base, while they are on TDY

But generally you will be on the base you are assigned to, taking pictures

IE: for the base newspaper, for award ceremonies, promotions, etc.How much would an enlisted photographer for the Air Force travel? You probly would not get travel , because the take camera way from you and put you on the front line !
