How to calculate how long it takes to travel 1 mile?

If a vehicle travels at 266mph, how long does it take to travel one mile?

I tried to work it out but math makes my brain hurt :( Thanks!How to calculate how long it takes to travel 1 mile?266 mph * 1hr / 60 min = 4.43 mpm

1/4.43 = 0.22 minutes to go one miles

0.22 * 60 = 13.54 seconds / mileHow to calculate how long it takes to travel 1 mile?
Remember the triangle that links speed, distance and time.

So to work out time you divide distance by speed.

Therefore 1 / 266 = 0.0037593 hours

To turn this into second you multiply it by 3600 (60 second in a minute, 60 minutes in an hour)

Therefore 0.0037593 x 3600

= 13.53 secondsHow to calculate how long it takes to travel 1 mile?Divide 1 mile by 266 mph and you get the answer in hours:

.00375 hours = .225 minutes = 13.5 secondsHow to calculate how long it takes to travel 1 mile?
266 miles in 3600 seconds

1 mile in 3600 /266 = 13 . 53 secondsHow to calculate how long it takes to travel 1 mile?60/266=.22

22 secondsHow to calculate how long it takes to travel 1 mile?
D

S T

T = D/S

T = 1/266

T = 0.0038 hours

Don't know if this makes sense lol :S It might not be right!
time = distance / speed = 1 mile / 266 mph = 0.00376 hours = 13.53 seconds
