What is this dark stop motion called?

I once saw this stop motion film on IFCs short film showcase. it was dark and creepy (like the tool music videos) with an old man creating strange creatures out of thread, bones, bits of flesh (clay), and other random junk. he would leave the creatures overnight to come alive and eventually they turn on him and kill him. does anyone know who created this and/or what it is called?What is this dark stop motion called?no i have no idea but sounds cool

The "creator" wakes up, rubs goo from a rusty sink onto his face, then get's cracking on making some worm-thing that sheds it's skin and turns into some sort of dog-looking thing. Ive seen it before, but never could find it anywhere.
