Why does Brownian motion increase as water warms up?

We were looking at a slide of water and carmine powder in my class, and I don't understand how the temperature affects brownian motion. Why does Brownian motion increase as water warms up?The individual particles move faster if the temperature is higher.

Brownian motion is caused by the particles bumping into each other.

Faster moving particles collide with more energy so they rebound with more energy.
