I don't play long or much at all, but when I do TRY to play a game that's in first person I usually get sick to my stomach and my head hurts within 10 minutes of playing.
I've heard people say it's motion sickness, so has anyone tried motion sickness medicine and had it work?Has motion sickness pills helped while playing first person games? My GF uses MS pills whilst playing Mirrors edge and it settles her stomach, so I'd venture yes.Has motion sickness pills helped while playing first person games?
It works for some people, but not all. If it's affecting you after only 10 minutes of play, a Dramamine tablet probably won't do much for you... plus, you'd need to take it at least half an hour before playing for full effect, and it's unlikely that it will prevent the headaches.
Optokinetic motion sickness (motion sickness cause by visual stimuli) usually happens when you're standing still, but what you're looking at is moving or rotating. It's a big problem on first person games. I play them regularly and usually have to take a break every hour or so (of course, I also play on a 40" screen, so that probably has an influence on it, too).Has motion sickness pills helped while playing first person games?I don't really know and the same thing happens to me, I personally think that you should pick another game to play because if your taking pills just to play one game, it's not really worth it. Medicine is for when it's necessary but not if you want to play a game or something. I wouldn't even go near the idea of taking pills.Has motion sickness pills helped while playing first person games?
Strange, I never got motion sickness from playing any kind of first person games. But I believe it would work. Good luck.Has motion sickness pills helped while playing first person games?YEEEES,
