Can you recommend any camera's that use stop motion when they record videos?

I'm looking for a nice camera but on a budget. 300 and less. One that takes high quality pictures, and has stop motion when you record. Or if you know if there is a video camera that uses stop motion. Please help me out? Thank you! %26lt;3Can you recommend any camera's that use stop motion when they record videos?Stop motion is a terminology carry over from the days of motion picture film. Movies don't move, they are a sequence of still photos that are projected on the screen in sequence, and give the illusion of motion. If you had a MP camera that can expose one frame at a time then you can create the illusion of motion to non-animate objects by moving their position slightly between shots.

Video, or at least digital video cameras do not work by taking individual frames. They take a group of frames (GOF) and then compress that down to 1 frame plus a set of interpolation instructions that allow playback of the entire GOF. Thus you can not do stop motion with a modern video camera.

You can do stop motion with a digital still camera. ideally use one with manual settings as you do not want it to reset focus or exposure values between shots. Computer software can then take a sequence of JPEG photos and stitch them together to make a video file.
