How To Do You Do Stop Motion In imovie?

My brother would like to know how to do stop motion in imovie. He keeps trying stuff but it just keeps zooming in on the pictures when we import them in. Okay so i just saw that you cannot make pictures that short in imovie, you need somethin like final cut pro. In file, project prefernces in imovie you can only make fotos play for as short as 1 sec, so that is way too long to do stop motion on, Try getting better editing software.
