How does increasing the initial velocity affect the motion of a projectile?

how does increasing the initial velocity affect the motion of a projectile? I'm writing a paper in physics, and couldn't find the answer in the book. a little help please??How does increasing the initial velocity affect the motion of a projectile? If you increase the initial velocity you increase both the initial vertical component of velocity and the horizontal velocity component..

Higher vertical component means it goes higher before falling back.

Higher vertical velocity means it's in the air longer.

Higher horizontal velocity means it goes farther before it hits the ground.
