Why Is It So Cold Lately In Washington State?

For the past few months the temp has been WAY below average. And now that spring is just around the corner im getting ready to fish again. So I have been looking at the weather report constantly. Its still saying we will have temps like 5 degrees below average. The weather channel gives 10 day weather reports. Why is this? Why is it so cold here in Washington? Some articles as far back as 1881 put the new North Pole in Siberia, but the way it is going it may be in Canada. Warmer temps? Don't worry. I keep reading Global Warming is why we are so dam cold. Who knew? If global Warming actually means warming I want it now. I'm tired of snow. Now that the winter here is longer and colder as well.
