What is the cheapest way to travel abroad in high school?

I am going to be a Junior in August and I didn't have enough money to go on any of the teen travel programs I have found online... I am getting a new job soon and I will save as much of it as possible for next summer, but I would like to know everyone's opinion on this from experience and whatnot. I am also interested in high school study abroad, but everything I have found so far is sooo expensiveWhat is the cheapest way to travel abroad in high school? The US Department of State has a few scholarship programs for high school students, most notably the Congress-Bundestag Youth Exchange (CBYX) scholarship program to Germany and the Kennedy-Lugar Youth Exchange and Study (YES) Abroad program to countries with a predominantly muslim population.

If you'd like to go do a different country, Ayusa has a number of competitively and inclusively priced programs throughout Europe, Asia, and Latin America. Our discounts and merit-based partial scholarships can be found on our website, along with a downloadable fundraising kit.

If you'd like to discuss any of Ayusa's programs in more detail, please contact an expert program advisor at 1-800-579-1709. In the meantime, you can also check out the websites listed below. Good luck with your search! What is the cheapest way to travel abroad in high school?FSU has a really good high school study abroad program. It isn't pricey compared to some others and for all the stuff you get to do, it's a great price.

I had a friend that did this and she said it changed her life and allowed her to become super independent.

Good luck! :)
