My mother nauseates on the ship and doesn't know what to do.How do you cure motion sickness on a ship?If you are referring to a cruise liner, the ship's purser or doctor can give her something to help (dramamine). If she's vomiting and it's to be taken orally, it won't be much help, though. If she gets very sick, the doctor can give her an injection.
The best thing to do is plan ahead. You never know when you'll run into rough seas. I always get a perscription for a patch to be worn behind the ear. You need to apply it 24 hours before you sail and each patch lasts for about 3 days.
I'm not bothered by boating motion except when there are really high seas. Without the patch, an otherwise fun experience would have been ruined more than once. How do you cure motion sickness on a ship?

I have the same problem and DRAMAMINE is the best solution
So simple - get some Bonine at the drugstore and take it the day before your departure and everyday of your trip (I think you only need one a day). It's easier to prevent it than treat it. It also doesn't make you drowsy like Dramamine. She could take a Dramamine at nighttime to help her sleep and enforce the Bonine. How do you cure motion sickness on a ship?

take motion sickness pill 1/2 hour before embarking
