How to get over car sickness/motion sickness?

I am going on a trip tomorrow and we'll be driving for about 10-11 hours. I usually do okay the first 5 or 6 hours but then I start getting very nauseous and feel sick. I take Dramamine but it doesn't always help. This time I'm taking some ginger ale with me. I'm going to be sitting in the back seat with two other people. Should I sit in the middle or by the window?

Does anyone have any tips to prevent motion sickness? Thanks! How to get over car sickness/motion sickness?I would definitely sit by the window because fresh air helps.

Also, keeping your head upright avoids/reduces car sickness. I get car sick very easily myself and noticed that it gets worse if I look down to read something. Instead, I try to get some sleep on the car.

Finally, don't get on the car on an empty stomach but try to eat light. Avoiding sweets and eating savory stuff helps, too. Oh, by the way, try not to eat on the car.

Have a nice trip! :)How to get over car sickness/motion sickness?Do you make sure to take the dramamine again after awhile? It lasts 4 to 6 hours and you have to keep taking it. Thats what helps me. Without it i throw up like crazy. Also fresh air and water. And watching the road. If im looking down or away i get sick.
