How do you get motion of a treadmill to power an appliance such as a light bulb?

And what could you use to make a model of this?How do you get motion of a treadmill to power an appliance such as a light bulb?By applying a dynamo to the treadmill, and then running wire to the appliance... its not THAT easy though.. unfortunately.. you will need to run a voltage regulator in the circuit to make sure the appliance is getting enough power, and to make sure the power doesn't run too high and it blows up.. it wouldn't be that easy, but with a light globe it would! it would just get dimmer and brighter as you slow or speed up :)How do you get motion of a treadmill to power an appliance such as a light bulb?u need a stepper motor and connect it to the treadmill and get alligator clips and connect the clips to the wires on the motor and on the prongs of the appliance
